Real Simple x Fidelity

Empowering Conversations amongst women is the hot topic and especially in San Francisco on the eve of May 13th. Ali Larter, Christine Bronstein and Williams Sonoma President Janet Hayes sat down with Real Simple’s Kristin van Ogtrop to talk women and success at The Bentley Reserve for an #EmpowerHour15. BigPicture PR hosted Real Simple and Fidelity and over 365 guests who were empowered by the inspirational speakers, mingled and imbibed in wines by Buehler Vineyards, and sent home with bags full of goodies from Shoes.com, J.Crew, Zirx, EO Essentials, and more!

Fashion and Philanthropy? Union & Fifth : Fashionistas Unite to Support Charities

Union & Fifth launches this #GivingTuesday – the first new luxury online designer consignment shopping/resale site that supports worthy charity organizations by donating 100% of all proceeds from any online purchases and/or donations of unwanted Items to your charity of choice.

Founded by sisters-in-law Pamela Trefler, philanthropist, and Christena Reinhard, professional fundraiser — Union & Fifth was formed to create an innovative and effective way of re-selling designer labels that could make a difference by giving consumers a chance to give back in the process. Union & Fifth takes an altruistic spin on a consumer driven industry by instilling a more beneficial cycle of shopping (a sale within a sale site) that gives a much deeper meaning to “retail therapy” and gift giving.cybertuesday_square_2

Madewell/Brownie and Madam

Ladies with a Vision Meet at Madewell

As the month of July comes to a swift close, we look back on 31 days full of events here at Big Picture PR. One that stands out prominently — a partnership between Brownie and Madam Optical Co. and Madewel.

You could say we had Jenna Lyons’ thick frames on our mind when we linked these too quirky brands together, but never did we envision such a perfect match. While Brownie and Madam brought their 24-piece line of women’s frames, ranging from cat-eye’s to oversized sunglasses, designed by founder Alpa Schroff; Madewell provided pre-styled looks from the latest collection.

Over cupcakes and bubbly, the sartorially-driven crowd found that donning good looking eyewear was just another extension of their personal style, and thus a way to express the clear vision of a strong minded woman!
